Triathlon Qld Development Coach
Rich is a Lifetime Member of the Sharks Triathlon Club, has been involved in the sport for over 30 years, and competed in numerous Ironman Triathlons. He leads various training sessions throughout the week, and designs programs to increase performance and maintain fitness throughout the season.

Coach Michael
Triathlon Qld Foundation Coach
Michael is an experienced triathlete, competing in a range of distances, from sprint to Ironman, over the past 15 years. Michael is the coaching coordinator at Sharks Triathlon club and works with our other coaches to deliver a comprehensive program for our athletes. He has competed on the world stage at the Kona World Championships. Michael enjoys seeing all our athletes thrive and improve and has recently founded our Sharks Junior Development Program- offering further coaching and support for junior athletes wanting to achieve their best.

Coach DARREN
Triathlon Qld Foundation Coach
Darren has been a qualified coach with Triathlon Australia for over 2 years, has competed in various Ironman Triathlons and excells in Queensland Triathlon Sprint Distance races. As an experienced Queensland State Runner representative, he applies his knowledge and experience into training sessions, and his professionalism is respected by members. He 'Loves seeing other people exceed expectations.'

Coach IAN
Triathlon Qld Foundation Coach
Ian has been in the sport since 1994, 28 years, he has done every distance, plus adventure racing up to the 24 hour format. He loves to help people get better and has researched into the scientific way of racing through reading and racing. He's a full believer of the 80/20 method of training for all distances. He has a passion to help those who wish to listen and learn the sport.

Coach SAM
Triathlon Qld Foundation Coach
After being introduced to the sport of triathlon by his sister, Sam has taken up triathlon as his passion after meeting all the enthusiastic and encouraging people at the Sharks club. He has been a qualified coach for over 3 years and competed in a variety of distances, ranging from sprint up to 70.3 half Ironman. As a teacher and coach he enjoys seeing people giving it their best go and generally having fun.
